Introduction

The purpose of giants in our life is to intimidate and hinder our advancement and possession of God’s promises.  The enemy’s purpose never changes.  He comes to kill, to steal, and to destroy.  In order to move forward and advance we must defeat the giants in our life.  The enemy is defeated as we have faith in our covenant relationship with God through salvation.  God promises are known to us through His word.  It is our responsibility to read His word, obey His word, and trust in His word.  Such was the case with David in his fight with Goliath.
